Handmade Christmas Card With Silver Conductive Ink Invites Recipients To Light Up The Tree Design

Dentsu London has been making Christmas cards for the festive season inspired by the University of Illinois’ experiments with making silver conductive ink. The advertising agency used a conductive ink pen, a watch battery and surface-mounted electronic components to create a self-contained circuit on the card. Lights appear on the Christmas tree when you press the circles at the bottom of the design.

    Wow, how does this even work? Can the lights be any other colour?

    I loved to see how people where smilling when they touched teh card and saw it light up! 😀 Specially teh older couple…so cute! 🙂 Great idea!
