Portuguese Beer Brand Launches New Product With Website Made Of Chocolate

Portugal’s leading beer brand, Sagres, introduced a new chocolate-flavored stout beer this year called Sagres Preta Chocolate, and came up with a creative way to promote the product. With no TV campaign and few print materials, their digital agency were required to use the web as the main promotional tool. To generate buzz for the chocolate beer, they created a website made out of chocolate.

Victor Nunes, known as the best chocolatier in Portugal, was hired to sculpt the website along with his team at their chocolate factory. The entire website was sculpted in chocolate pieces, moulded according to the agency’s design. The frame and all of the components were then shot in different positions and stages, which became the raw materials for the website.

To invite consumers to try the new product, Sagres offered a piece of the chocolate website and a 6-pack of Sagres Preta Chocolate to users during a specific hour every day. Check out the video below to see how they made the chocolate website:
