Digital Platform Raises Money Famine Relief In Africa

50/50 is a digital platform that aims to launch 50 projects in 50 days to raise 1 million dollars for famine relief in East Africa. Interested parties can elect to back a project, create their own, or simply donate to a project they feel is worthwhile. An example project includes the ‘AfricaCashBack’ collaboration with e-shopping site Shoppers visit to purchase items for sale on Amazon, but by doing so, Amazon will pay a referral commission of 5-10% to UNICEF.
