Track Runway Fashion & Be Notified When It Hits The Stores

Runway Tracking is a recently launched Twitter-like platform that allows you to browse and track the latest fashion garments and accessories from top designers like Jason Wu, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Rag & Bone, Oscar de la Renta and much more. Instead of following users like Twitter, you can follow individual items of clothing. Created by Lyst, a New York-based fashion startup site, the added benefit of Runway Tracking is that you can get instantly notified as soon as your favorite piece or item is available for purchase — either in store or online.

Christ Morton, CEO and founder of Lyst, explained that:

“Runway shows are increasingly becoming consumer-facing events. Rather than having to wait hopelessly for a hot item to appear on racks, consumers can act upon that desire immediately, instead of waiting months for items to come in stock.”

Runaway Tracking’s date of release coincides with New York Fashion Week. Already, it has investors from Accel Partners, Smythson, Oscar de la Renta and Tory Burch.
